Shine On, Mom!
an education & art-making workshop
for mothers of neurodivergent children
Loneliness.
Overwhelm.
Exhaustion.
Self-Doubt.
Judgement.
Worry.
Pressure.
Frustration.
…and more
As the mother of a neurodivergent child, you likely find yourself in one or all of these feelings on a regular basis. Mothering is tough enough, especially in a culture that can be quick to judge us harshly or hold us to impossibly high ideals. But mothering a neurodivergent child is tough times ten (or more!). We carry the stresses and pressures all mothers do, but we also carry the extra burdens that come with caring for a differently-wired human in a world that far too often demands "typical" behaviors and needs.
Give yourself the gift of support this Mother's Day by joining us for a unique workshop where you'll receive education, art-making, support & connection. You'll be warmly invited to turn your attention inward to notice your own resilience and strength, enhancing your sense of empowerment, ease, and hope.
Our time together will include:
You will also receive a content summary handout, self-reflection worksheets, and follow-up resources to further support your learning and resilience after the workshop ends. Our art-making experience will guide you in creating a meaningful votive candle that you will be able to keep and use as a reminder of the many ways you're worth celebrating.
