These are a few of the common stressors you may experience within your neurodiverse family over the holidays. It can be a LOT!
Give yourself the gift of support by joining us for a unique workshop where we’ll come together to practice self-compassion and develop self-kindness strategies to help us care for ourselves as we navigate holiday challenges.

You will also receive a self-reflection worksheet, a recorded guided meditation, and follow-up resources to further support your learning and resilience after the workshop ends.
This event is for adults (18 and up) only. It will not be recorded to protect privacy and promote group discussion.
For some/many participants, there will be suspected or possible neurodivergence in yourself/in your family that has not been formally diagnosed and may not be acknowledged or discussed in your family. If a neurodiversity-lens helps you understand your family experience in any way, you are very much welcome to join us.

- You have neurodivergent parents
- You have neurodivergent siblings
- You have neurodivergent in-laws or other extended family members
- You have a neurodivergent spouse or partner

Our time together will include:
- A brief introduction to self-compassion
- A guided meditation to support self-compassion (the self-compassion break)
- Identifying & understanding common pain points for neurodiverse families during the holidays
- Developing strategies to practice self-kindness throughout your neurodiverse family gatherings

meet your facilitatorLaurie is a Certified Neurodiverse Couples Therapist with personal lived experience with neurodiversity up, down, and all around her family tree. She's a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with a private practice in Indianapolis and co-facilitator of the local group Indy Autism Clinicians.
