Business Coaching Services
As therapists, we are drawn to the work we do because we're naturally gifted at being present with people in the midst of their in-the-moment experiences. Being a business owner is in many ways the opposite of being a therapist: it happens behind the scenes, requires long range planning, and is pretty darn boring at times. Therapists often find business ownership overwhelming and uncomfortable, but we're determined to do it anyway so that we can ethically, sustainably do what we do best for our clients and our communities.

I’m here to support you as you build your unique therapy business, mentoring you and cheerleading you as you move toward a more fulfilling professional life that brings you both ease and excitement. Together, we can grow your entrepreneurial confidence, develop your business plan, and create systems that free you up to do more of what you enjoy at both work and home.
What to Expect
Our business coaching sessions will provide a collaborative space for goal setting, strategizing, and discovering what works best for you in your business. I’ll share insights from my expertise and experiences, while also encouraging you to build on your unique strengths and knowledge.
You’ll gain practical tools, constructive feedback, and lots of encouragement as you start or grow your therapy business. We'll attend to both your financial well-being, your values, and your sense of purpose throughout our process.

Whether you want just a little guidance on a specific business question or someone to hold your hand for a whole season, I'm happy to help and look forward to supporting you!
Service Fees & Location
I offer business coaching sessions in 30 minute or 60 minute intervals. My fee is $75 per 30 minute session and $150 per 60 minute session. If you'd like to commit to four or more one hour sessions with me, I can offer a discounted rate of $125 per session.
We can meet online via Zoom or at my office in Broad Ripple, Indianapolis.

About Laurie
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Indiana, a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), an AAMFT-Approved Supervisor and an AANE Certified Neurodiverse Couples Therapist.
I started my private practice in 2016, purchased office property and developed a therapist collective in 2018, and began a residency program in 2023. I have also developed and facilitated online courses and support groups, appeared on podcasts, and created educational content for both clinicians and consumers.
